We were walking downtown across the street from the Alamo and we came across all these muscle cars. Unfortunately we got there just as they were leaving...
Mike these are for you.
Enjoy!!

Natural Bridge Wildlife Safari

The weather was beautiful today so we decided to go to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.
Here we are before we go on our safari.

Wilderbeast..... right here in TX

Tony had a great time feeding this ostrich until the ostrich tried to eat his fingers...

More please...less knuckles tho...
Cheyenne is having fun feeding the animals as well.

Can you say that you have fed and pet a Zebra!
WE CAN!! :)

Their coat is beautiful!!
Mama and her babies... it's hard work being a baby zebra.

The picture of the bird below was specifically taken for Mike.
The bird is called a Military Macaw.. interesting huh...

Football Season here we come!

Football season has begun!
The stadium lights are on, the burgers were cooking, the Cheerleaders were cheering, the football team was psyched and the BAND was ROCKING!!

Here is Chey in the band room before marching out to the field.

Cheyenne is the fourth person from the right....

There's my baby girl....

Port Aransas, 2009

Who doesn't love going to the beach.
We took off on Saturday and went to Port Aransas, TX.
What a beautiful day we had!

The picture below is on the bridge coming out of Corpus Christi...

Cheyenne and her friend Katie in the warm ocean water. No jelly fish were seen but Katie sure did find a lot of sand-dollars. We left them all in the water they were too little to even consider bring home.
It was a perfect day to fly a kite.
We were fortunate to find a small area of beach that we could put our chairs down.
There were people for miles to see.
In either direction.
We are back on the ferry, getting ready to head home.
This pelican looks as tired as we were feeling.
Fresh air and sunlight, does it every time!
On the ferry half way across.. Beautiful isn't it!
If you ever come visit us here in Texas we will surely come down to Port Aransas to enjoy the sun, the warm water and the soft sand!

Strike One.....

Strike One, Strike Two, Strike Three.... YOUR OUT!
What an exciting time my Sunday school class and I had watching the San Antonio Missions play against the Arkansas Travellers.
Would have been even better if the Missions had scored just one run...anyway.

Hey batter batter... swing!
Here is the SS class to my right.....
and the SS class to my left
and me and Kristina!
After the baseball game we enjoyed watching the fireworks....
too bad none of my pictures turned out.

Until next time GO Missions!
