Tony's 20!!

Once Chris made sure he had all of his fingers and toes, Tony slid into our hearts and has grown into a fine young man.

Of course, he could of stopped growing after catching up to me, but he has always exceeded my expectations.

What if today, you could see yourself the way that we see you?

What if we could somehow take you back and show you for a moment,
the beautiful baby boy who won our hearts forever the first time we held
him in our arms.......

Or the mischievous toddler who never stopped for more than a minute,
so full of life and curiosity about the world around him?

What if we could somehow show you the kind and generous man we see standing before us
or any one of the countless, precious memories we keep in our hearts?

What if on your birthday you could see yourself the way that we see you?

Then you would always know, without a doubt, how much we have loved
watching you change and grow and become the kind of man
we always knew you would be.

Happy Birthday Son, We love you,
Mom and Dad

Toby Keith and Tim McGraw

We had the chance to see Tim McGraw and Toby Keith this year at the San Antonio rodeo. Tim came in and played a few songs for us before we went out to the main rodeo and show. It was cool seeing him in a relaxed atmosphere.

Toby didn't play, but he let us come up, shake his hand and get a photo. These two gentlemen have always been huge supporters of the military, making several trips to Iraq and Afghanistan. On the night Toby played he invited 30 Wounded Warriors to go back stage and spend some time with him. After that they got to go out on the main rodeo floor at stage level for the concert. Thank you Tim and Toby, from an American Soldier.

By the way, I'm actually taller than Toby, he had to put his arm around me to get taller than me. Just kidding, thanks again Toby.

Military Ball

After getting her hair done....
and her makeup done....

Cheyenne is off to the Military Ball with her escort Austin.

Spoon Fight

As we settle around the table to play "spoons"which involves spoons and a deck of cards..... Mike and Heather (his niece) thought that it would be more fun to play spoons without the cards.
As you can tell Mike is not having any fun....
And Heather is giving as good as she is getting....
poor Tony his knees were getting battered as well.

Mikes HOME!!

Mike is HOME! We are so relieved to have him back home with us. We've spent a lot of time talking and laughing since he has been home. So sorry for the delay of getting this blog out to all of you.

Here we are waiting for Mike at the bottom of the escalators at the airport. These are all members of our Sunday School class..

I saw Mike and ran up the stairs to him. How could I wait for him to come to me. This was one of the happiest days of my life.

Now that we got him off the plane, you can see that all of our smiles are bigger.

Welcome Home Mike!!
