Monumental day for Cheyenne

Cheyenne got her braces off!!!

She has been counting the days until she could get her braces off and today was it. She was so excited! In the first picture below Dr. Gonzales is asking her if she is sure she is ready to get them off.

The process has begun... the brackets are being snipped off....

Meet Vanessa, she is the sweetest dental assistant.

Look at the smile on her face...she is officially brace free and polished to a shiny wireless smile.

Happy New Years!

As all of you know we are very excited about it being 2010. Mike is coming home! He is scheduled to leave Iraq on the 30th of Jan. Stopping over at a couple of places to turn in equipment and then on to San Antonio, we are anticipating him being home around the first week of Feb. So please keep him in your prayers!!

Now on to the festivities of our New Year Celebration!
In the first picture you see Mike dressed up in a 70's Hippie costume. He and his fellow soldiers decided to celebrate the New Year in costumes. We think he looks dashing with all that long hair...considering we've never seen Mike with hair.

The next picture is of the kids, myself and some good friends of ours the Juni's. We went over to their house played games, and ate delicious snacks until we rang in the New Year. Thank you for letting us come over!!
