Baby Birds

What fun it is to know that we have a family of birds on our porch. Recently we came upon this nest with three eggs in it. It is sitting at the top of one of the columns on our front porch.
Couple days later we have baby birds.... Hungry little fellas too

Today, Tony got out there and took this picture for us. They are growing up right before our very eyes... cute huh

Saying goodbye to Mike

I apologize for not posting this sooner... life seems to get in the way.
After spending two wonderful weeks with Mike home it was now time to send him back. If I thought that sending Mike off the first time was hard it is nothing compared to sending him back a second time.
We took a few minutes before leaving to take this last family picture of all of us.
After arriving at the airport we stood in line for almost two hours waiting on a flight for Mike. Let me explain, the flight that Mike was to originally fly out on got grounded for mechanical problems, so we had to wait for another flight to be opened up. It was very frustrating for Mike specifically because he has to be in Dallas by a certain time. After several phone calls we were finally able to secure him on a flight.
With Mike's boarding pass in hand he is making his way through the security check point. We decided not accompany Mike to the gate this time. Emotions were already running high and we did not want it to be harder on Mike, he is after all the one that is having to leave us.
Mike called us Tuesday afternoon to let us know that he made it to Kuwait and he was then waiting on a flight to his finally destination. Finally today, Sat. June 20, Mike called to let us know that he just landed in Iraq. I'm sure that he is glad to be in his home away from home.
We miss you so much honey and pray for you daily!
All our love!,
Debbie, Tony and Cheyenne

Our very own bird whisperer....

In this picture you see Mike our very own bird whisperer after he has worked his charm on Koi for her to sit still. Whew, after several bites I think Koi finally figured out that Mike is bigger...

Go Karting + Mini Golf + Arcade Games + Family = A whole lot of fun!!

We had a wonderful time as a family at Green Acres.... 1st we went go-karting, then we played a round of Putt Putt Golf and then off to the arcade we went. It was great having all of our kids home at one time... Enjoy the pictures below!
Tony has got the wind blown look down..
Poor dude, trying to get out of this thing when you are 6'4" is entertaining for the rest of us.
Woo Hoo! It's on huh Mike!....

Chey is raring to go.... Watch out boys here she comes...

Can we go again... I loved skidding around the corners...

Buckle up Chris...
Then off to Putt Putt Golfing...
Check out Mike's stance... is he a pro or what... ?

Tony is striking a pose, we were glad that they made a putter tall enough for him!
Cheyenne is fishing again... I kept telling her to putt the ball not scoop the ball... I think she just liked playing in the water...

The almighty Chris got a Hole in One, and he strutted for the rest of the game.

Off to the arcade games... Tony is showing us how it is done!

Brave Air Force dude with a pink gun.. go figure.. :)
Chey is blowing up tanks, or at least she is trying too.
They don't have arcade games in Iraq huh honey.... Have fun!
Centipede the only game I can play...
Chris and Cheyenne posing
Guitar Hero at it's best... Brother against Sister... Who won?
Our Family!
From the very tall to the short... gotta love em all!
